Now a time has come when you have to store them somewhere. Why should such occasions arise? Reasons could be plenty: from relocating to a new city and you are not too sure whether all your furniture is going to fit in the space available; some of the furniture has lost its utility as you have moved on and re-done your interiors; you could have simply outgrown some of the furniture and feel like removing some clutter from your home. Whatever the reasons are for storing furniture, the first thing to look for is a storage location, which should not only be free from termites and pests but should be easily accessible too. You do not wish to keep your highly valuable furniture which is also the breeding ground of termites, rats, and other pestilent. The space must be regularly cleaned and pest-control measures are a must. You do not have to believe the brochure or the company spokesperson in this matter – you could visit the unit personally and check out the details yourself.
Last but never the least important is the packing of the furniture pieces which are being stored. If you are not too familiar with the packing procedures, it could be a wise decision to call an expert and get the furniture packed. This will help you keep the furniture safe while in storage. Though it costs a bit of money to hire professional packers, but it is money well spent for a worthy cause.
